Terms of Use

Last updated 8 August 2026

1. Using SOMA

SOMA offers guided mobility and wind-down rituals that adapt to the recovery and training information you choose to share. By using SOMA you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

You must be at least 16 years old to use SOMA.

2. Not medical advice

SOMA supports everyday movement and wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Recommendations are generated automatically from wellness data and general movement principles.

Move within your own limits. Stop if anything causes pain, dizziness or discomfort, and speak to a qualified professional before starting a new routine — especially if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery or managing a health condition. You take part at your own risk.

3. Connected services

You may optionally connect WHOOP and Spotify. Those connections are governed by the terms and privacy policies of those providers. SOMA reads only what is needed to shape and soundtrack your ritual, and you can disconnect at any time from the app.

Spotify playback control requires an active Spotify Premium account and an open Spotify device. Playlist suggestions are Spotify-owned content shown for convenience only.

4. Your content and data

Session history and preferences are stored on your device. How data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy. You can clear it at any time by disconnecting integrations and clearing site data.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse SOMA: no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service, and no use of it in ways that break applicable law or the terms of connected providers.

6. Availability and changes

SOMA is provided “as is” and “as available”. Features may change, pause or be withdrawn, and third-party integrations may stop working outside our control. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOMA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury arising from movement performed outside your capability or against professional advice. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms? Reach out through the contact route listed in our Privacy Policy and we will get back to you.
